yes, yes, in the flesh...haha
What up Yaga, I've peeped your shyt before so I know you got that ether in the arsenal, but bein that in what remains of the battle catz at SOHH. I may be the best left so I step to the challenge...can go two rounds if you want.
This knave a brave!?!? Shyt'll flop if Yaga takes the reigns
Polished Barbershop flow, since nobody FADES the same
He's lackin a spine, still Puppets classics has this ****** enshrined**
Bet I'll 'circle his best', than continue on track, lappin his prime
Merkin this vet, wit his still born skills worn, dramatically shown a stasis
The pattern he flows is vacant, tales of greatness radically overrated
He sends a faint terror but when he's touched his tone suffers
Went from Metal Face Meddler to Rusted Dome Adjuster
I'll save SOHH if ya say so, 'bury the weeds' so the earth is preserved
Thats YOU son, gonna need more than shovels and spades to 'resurface this herb'
Takin a permanent turn, 'loggin' burnt wood the way his fire's splintered
Since he swept Eternal he's been off track like retired sprinters
I assumed you'd have a verse in his classic thread but it doesnt go with that in particular (b/c I didnt check) its just becuz you from those days when the wheel was built n ****
Takes me forever to drop, we could go again, no doubt... thanx for the words, dude. Alway nice to be noticed although, no offense... it really means sh*t. lol.
it's too bad how i'm mashin' speech, all the while rippin' options
'cause you're half *** half emcee, & my style can't split the profits /
seeing a b*tch in theman, so to speak - such a bad emcee to witness
who's got so much hell to pay, i'm putting the devil out of business /
gotta make this kid haste, 'cause my way's a bad route to brawl
in a bar, leave emcees sh*tfaced, not even talkin' about the alcohol /
he's not prepared but ready to blow... though nothing's left to burn
should be scared, unsteady flow... take more time to sweat The Firm /
heavy drops, and the fighting's older, gold crosses, martyrs known
so the writing's boulder, consider losses carved in stone // >

OH MAN... I need another round to vote on this one.
Yes yes, yaga: "cause you're half *** half emcee, & my style can't split the profits..."
theman080: "Thats YOU son, gonna need more than shovels and spades to 'resurface this herb'"

This was mad close, and i'd like to see another round
but yag's i think you slept on your boy a little
I'm gonna give it to 080, cuz i think his verse was hitting harder and more consistently
i was really feeling both styles, theman with the multi's (you sacrifice substance for flow a little too much sometimes) and yaga's more lyrically abstract approach (but sometimes the hits aren't as direct as they should be)
overall, a battle of styles, and this time.... theman comes out on top
(although i'm really more a fan of yaga's style)
vote - 080

overall - cool battle. I quoted my fav lines in the battle. both seem like they can drop good if they want to. but yeaa i felt theman more here, his flow and his multis, his punches, pretty much his whole verse was better. dude had one more quotable as you can see. and basically just came harder. yaga did aight. just not as good as theman080

Dang, both verses were a lil over my head for different reasons.
080 seems to abbreviate his bars to make em fit...to many broken messages, so I have to read into em a lil too much in order to figure out where it's going. But I'm a lil new to the whole text thing so that may just be the way it's done.
Yaga just dropped too deep for me, or maybe just to many subliminals...but I guess I'm just lazy, but the flow is very smooth though. My vote would have to be a draw.
theman, i don't know if you've Departed just yet (pun, lol), but lemme know if you want to go again.
