i remember the time,
when my soul wasn't used
i was a b-baller.... all the holes in my shoes,
my fams had to strive, gettin food from a numberline,
and goin back to school, same shoes from the summertime, (feel me)
i really can't complain cause this soldier survived,
with a pop with no job plus the oldest of five,......no lie
i had enemies, and if i could killem i'd kill twice,
and i hear *****s bit##in when they live an ideal life,
if i could go back?, ain't much it would do,
my moms and pops on that crack with 5 kids?, wasn't much we could do,
BCW was breakin us too,threw us all in a van, next day not knowing where we move,
picture growing up in the streets, yeah the where the gangstas roam, in dangers zones,
then having to wake alone in a strangers home,
picture not even seein ya pops before he passed,
but i always say sometimes you gotta cry before you laugh,
i got what i wanted from my aunt like " this the hottest life",
and then she past away to.....you ever been adopted twice?,
ya family been? takin in by *****y aunts all just for the cream,
and then when you quit ball and wanna rap, she s***tin on ya dreams,
i feel like there's no one to talk too, like i'm phoneless,
i been all over for a deal, up in philly..... i was homeless,
and at the same time i CAN"T SIN and NO TRANSGRESSION,
ya girl pregnant and you pray to LORD for a blessing,
I'M STRESSIN AT 18 MY MIND CAN NEVER! STAY CLEAR,
I GOT GRAY HAIRS JUST PRAYING THAT MY DAYS NEAR,
GOD gave me a plan i'll stand and strive for it
after all i been through i know that i can die for it,
if you'd seen what i've seen i know you would faint,
i hate when *****s say they the best............... knowing they ain't
I need to get up in the game and ima take on whateva vet,
and *****s that sware they know a *****, but we never met,
