Yeah, I was thinking of going...I wanted to go to the Skate Key in the Bronx but it closed a little while ago...I'm out on Strong Island, so I'm trying to find out a cool place to go; somewhere with good music.

yea skate key just closed down for good in march...most of the legendary spots in ny are gone...empire rink in brooklyn is still open

you live in the ny area? they have skating lessons at the roxy before 8pm...

or...find a kid & hit up a local rink...kids are great teachers.

Kids also have no fear. But hell, my 8 year old cousins know how to and I don't. But since I help teach them how to ride a bike, maybe they can return the favor. They are twins, so I am sure I can have each one responsible for one leg. lol!!

Yeah, I'm in the NYC area. I never been to roxy yet. I usually do the basketball leagues (not this summer though) and occationally flag football. I love sports, and I hate staying indoors.

I rollerskate!! I may not be your rhythm skating, hoppin on one foot while going 80 miles an hour while I'm rounding a corner pro but I can get through a night without fallin down. No one in my area likes to or knows how to for that matter. I need a skating buddy...
