I know I'm alive but sometimes I feel I'm not living
sometimes I feel like I'm dead but I'm still breathing
maybe it's due to my lack of existance
or maybe its like lifes a job and I lack experience
I cannot explain feeling dead inside
I cannot explain the tears I've cried
I'm dead to the world so I have to hide
I need a shovel to dig me out of my grave
in order to defeat death I must do something brave
because I cannot fight death
without a single breath left
in order to have the will to survive
I need to have a reason to feel alive
I need to feel that I exist so my life can thrive
I'm sick of being invisible and thats no jive
in order to exist I need to be heard
and my words cannot come out mumbled and slurred
even if I have to be clear for word
I will show the world that I'm real
I will let the world onto how I feel
open up to the world my TRUE self I reveal
you see my shovel of choice

because if I have something to say and nothing is said
then I'm just one of the living dead
