well, find who you are and what you are about. Spit for your expression, don't do it thinking your going to become a famous rapper on the mic. Why? because this is text. and text isn't simple like most audio heads deliberate it for. hip-hop text is scripts of expression towards a cause or will power. So express that, realize your roots, demand your enigmas. and then write about it with rhyme. Use complexity such as: metaphors, creativity, personification, multi's, vocab, hyperbole's, imagery, symbolism, and a dope rhyme scheme; not some gay ass rhymes with 1-3 syllables like washed up mainstream dudes use. Create your own vibe. use your own style. don't be a follower, make your own path and imprints on the hip-hop culture. write on a day-to-day basis. write while you have writers block because you usually discover the most insinuating expression while you have writers block. DONT write about writers block unless it's symbolism for something else. Don't expect something that dreams find unexpected unless your eyes are closed. think, don't scripple on your paper. communicate your thoughts with your pen. make them bond and become one like the pen is a 6th finger that you have. Almost like having a 6th sense. because a 6th sense defines hip-hop only due to the fact that hip-hop is potent to all senses combined into one.
If this isn't a good enough suggestion, then I dunno... Hip-Hop really isn't for you then.
