is it normal for you not to be hungry. I've research it and thought that I would give it a try.... three days into it, and I have no appetite. I just eat just for the sake of eating. Is this normal?

Thats one of the benefits of Keto. Staying on this diet usually isn't a probably because hunger should not set-in. Fat satisfies your body's fuel needs better than carbs when your on Keto, so the Fat you consume serves as fuel without being stored as actual fat.

When your in Ketosis hunger doesn't come as fast; this is also attributed to eating 6 meals a day. However, you will notice that after your carb-ups, having a few hunger pangs the day after will be normal. After a day or so these hunger pangs subside and your back to fat-burning mode.

Also make sure your drinking atleast 1 gallon of water everyday, and don't forget to eat your veggies. Fiber and veggies is another reason why your not feeling hungry. If your following the diet closely and eating a lot of veggies, hunger will NOT be a problem.
