loved this girl since day one. her music is warm, soothing, just makes me feel good. I played Voyage to India before sleep the whole last week.

She is beautiful in a natural way, you gotta check those pics in the album's liner notes.

people hate on her because she made that song "video", which is exactly why i love her .. sure beyonce and mariah are gorgeous (and coincidentally, they both can sing too) but i don't want to like a person's music (something you hear with your ears) because they look (something you see with your eyes) good ... but if people opened up their ears and used an intelligent mind they would find out that india is definately a dope artist

she doesn't fit the mold, as she aptly put in "video", she wasn't the pre-processed formulistic female diva to have guys drooling on their way to the cash register to buy the pop hit of the month .. she just wowed us with natural talent

Ppl find it so easy to attack things that are different. India Arie music is real, it come from the heart, and with "video" she makes black women feel beautiful about who they are.
