im about to buy something for home use, and was wondering what will give me the most benefit... i had an upright stationary bike, but its a piece of crap... i was considering getting another one, but started to consider an elyptical machine, or a treadmill... ive never used an elyptical machine, are they any good? is the motion somewhat natural? any advantage of one over the other? and if you know of something to reccoment, ill take suggestions (dont really wanna spend that much, but i know these things are loot)
goodlooks!

ellipticals are cool.. they're kinda like stair steppers but not in a straight up and down motion.. more like pedalling a bike standing up.. kind of.. hard to explain...
i didn't like it at first cause i thought it was too hard, but i'm hooked on the eliptical machine now. burns calories way faster than walking on the treadmill
treadmills are good too.

I like sit-down bikes with handles on the side or the ones that are built like regular bikes (sit is higher up vertically). So basically bikes or jogging/walking on the treadmill. I do the programs like hill increases and stuff, by the time you know it, the workout is over. Takes about 25 minutes to do the intermediate programs.

are any of those 3 better than any of the others? like i assume you get more of a workout on something like an elip because you use your arms? ive never tried one, but that shiit looks so damn de-masculating to me

A lot of people hate them, but I like the regular Stairmasters. I just do the interval fat burning program on there and it works great

Oh yea, Stairmasters, love those too. I like anything that I can keep good posture and that works my butt . . tocks.
