this album isn't on some indie rock vibe though. It's "alternative country" (which I infer means country that doesn't totally suck and doesn't rely on the base and generic to hook its stupid ass audience).

Definitely not my kind of thing. But I gave it a listen, and soem of the songs are incredibly pretty.

same for jenny lewis. rilo kiley sucks. her solo stuff sucks. her & chan just happen to be really hot, so i guess that works.
