Class-SICK. If any album proves quintessentially why The Beatles are considered the GOAT, this is it. (British version, not the American.)

Sgt. Pepper's is very overrated to me, in fact, the most overrated album ever IMO. Revolver is frigging dope, but I can't stand Love You To or Tomorrow Never Knows so I have to rank it just below Rubber Soul. Haven't heard The White Album in its entirety but what I've heard of it is very dope.

Sgt. Pepper isn't overrated, it's a great album...
Abbey Road is my favorite tho (and the only other beatles album I actually own)

I think Abbey Road is the best one. Rubber Soul is good too but not as good as Sgt Pepper or Revolver.
i think revolver is their best album, but the older i've gotten, the more i've realized just how overrated the beatles are/were.

I only like about 4 or 5 songs on Pepper. And I personally loathe Abbey Road with the exception of 2 songs. I don't know, I love every track on Rubber Soul, I can bump it from front to back, one of the very few albums I can do that with.
Revolver is great though.

I think Sgt. Peppers is the best album by the Beatles... btw. this is why the Beatles are the best band ever...if you have to argue about which album is the best, they all must be pretty dam good.

Since we're on that British tip right now (or I'm on it, anyway).......
Been a while since I made this thread. Just want to say that I've changed my opinion on Pepper and Abbey Road.
Pepper will probably always be the most overrated album ever because of the era......but that doesn't mean it isn't a brilliant frigging album. I wouldn't mind people calling it the GOAT anymore.
Rubber Soul is still my personal GOAT album.
Revolver....brilliant but not better than RS a cohesive whole IMO. However, any album that has "Taxman", "Eleanor Rigby", "Here, There, and Everywhere", "I'm Only Sleeping", "and Yellow Submarine" on it is still one of the greatest ever made.
Abbey Road....the second side is like.....you just have to listen to it.
A Hard Day's Night = considered to be their first classic album, and deservedly so.
With the Beatles = slept on pretty hard. At this point they were still a "glorified cover band", yet one that could make covers better than the original songs IMO. And "Not A Second Time" is a top 5 personal favorite Beatles song, Lennon was that fricking dude.
The White Album, from what I've heard of it, is pretty hard. The emergence of George Harrison.
Help! is probably the most underrated album from them. I mean frig, it has "Yesterday" and "Ticket to Ride" on it, don't sleep.....
They're probably the greatest (and yes, to a degree the most overrated) band in history. All of these albums are ample reasons why.

I like Revolver.
That being said, here is a paraphrased quote from John Lennon:
"All of the bands that came after us ripped off our sound. Except for Creedence Clearwater Revival."
That is awesome for two reasons:
1. It shows that John Lennon was just as pompous as any artist who made it big (beware of legends).
2. Creedence DOES kick ass, always will kick ass, and an endorsement by a Beatle just makes that fact all the more sweet.
My list would have to go
1. Revolver
2. Abbey Road (Nothing like the 2nd half of the album- ever)
3. Sgt. Peppers
Funny how they got famous doing covers and silly pop songs
Yet it is only the legendary bands who progress into something original that's never been seen before
Yes the Beatles are overrated but that doesn't mean they aren't the greatest

The fact that there's like 6 different Beatles albums, all of which are classic, and any of which you could argue is their best album or even the greatest album of all time just proves how far ahead in the #1 spot they are. Like 20 different bands and artists can all contend for #2, but there's only like 1-2 other bands/artists that can even compete with the Beatles in any given statistical category across the board: only 1-2 that have had a comparable amount of influence, only 1-2 (different ones) who had made as many great singles, only 1-2 who had made as many great albums, 1-2 who had almost as many sales, etc.
Rubber Soul was always my personal favorite Beatles album, in part because I always thought it was undervalued and hadn't been overexposed, so I always enjoyed listening to it the most because it seemed fresh. But I know that overall it's not as good as the albums that followed it.
And whoever doesn't like "Tomorrow Never Knows" on Revolver, that's cool, but understand that that song birthed entire genres of music.

Over time I've grown to appreciate it more, for that reason and because the song is kinda cool. They really were revolutionizing sh!t back then.
