Disclaimer: This might not be possible due to the effort involved. I apologize if this runs south quickly.
To many this place is a resource. To me, my current circle of friends are slacking in many ways musically, so i almost depend on you guys to put me on to new, good sh*t (demanding life, i don't have the time for magazines or to go to too many good concerts). A while ago, someone from this forum put me on to Team Sleep, and sh*t... it's STILL my favorite "current record" even after the new year.
In lieu of this, is it possible folks can have a thread where band/artist/album suggestions run rampant? And if someone else takes note of a suggestion and KNOWS the music's horrible, they can say it? And TRUST me, a negative comment about a band from certain posters is VALUABLE.
And, to further weed out the misinformed, with every suggestion could come how you caught the buzz about the album, or why the artist's record is anticipated by you. And even a your review of a new record may be helpful... this thread's topic is completely tangible.
So i'm throwing this out there to see if it floats. Let's see what the indies make of it. =)
