I stand before fully clothed yet naked...
I am no longer putting up the mask I had on before, this is me....
I'm no longer telling you what you wanna hear I'm telling you the truth...
I'm no longer watching what I say around you...
Baby that dinner was not so great...
But I loved it cause you took the time to feed me...
I digested more than just your over cooked beans...
I digested your love for me...
Your sweet attempt at role reversal, you wore the apron tonight and you wore it quite nicely...
You stood behind me and pulled out my chair...
So gently you placed the napkin in my lap...taking your time as you stood, taking your nose across my neck and breathing in my perfume...
I wore your favorite tonight....
I blush...and giggle a little...
The candles are lit and we begin to eat, I shy away from the meat it doesn't look quite complete, yet I devour the veggies, you worked wonders with the greens...
We're done eating and dessert is sat before me..
A bowl of strawberries to the left of me and ice cream to my right....
I get a little nervous not knowing what to expect next...
I watch you move from your seat and take my hand..

Daaaamn!!! This is dope!! I mean, this is just really really a work of art... Really romantic and deep! Like I've said before, you truly have a way with words and expressing yourself through writing... It's amazing just how powerful your work is and how it becomes alive right in front of me, like a movie... It's like I can read line for line, and just see it play out right in front of me...
