POS is back with "Audition" In Stores Now!

After smashing onto the scene in 2004 with his debut album Ipecac Neat, P.O.S. feels Audition is his first real step. A first step after years of preparation, to say more with less and present smarter songs while blending redefined styles. With a unique host of guest appearances, innovative production and clever song writing the results are nothing short of amazing. Audition is still undoubtedly Hip Hop but overall more honest and personal than previous efforts, not to mention it's punker, louder and more abrasive.

Here's what people are saying:

“What's with Minnesotans and their scary-good indie hip-hop records? On P.O.S.'s sophomore effort, jagged guitar lines anchor syrupy drums as he throws down his best catharsis: "We throw our hands up like we don't care anymore/Because we don't." (A-) -SPIN

“An aggressive rapper afire with infinite political and social gripes, P.O.S. delivers (and sometimes screams) his stand-up style from the perspective of a fed-up father of one, living humbly with everything to prove. Equal parts melancholy, hopeful and hilarious, Audition is a hip-hop album that flashes influences of metal, emo-rock and pop punk -- inspiration that's mostly endearing and unusually authentic.” (4 out of 5 Stars) -URB

“P.O.S. first put down musical roots in punk, and his sensibility fuses punk's painful sincerity and social consciousness with indie-rap's self-awareness and musicality. The result falls between Slug's disarmingly inward-looking honesty and Rage Against The Machine's furious calls to action, and largely takes the best from both worlds.” (A)-THE ONION’S AV CLUB

“P.O.S. sews it all together with several straight-forward, honest hip-hop songs, making this one very well-balanced meal. Anyone open top well thought-out, solidly produced, and most of all, original, hip-hop music, will dig this.”
