Thats pretty good, now just try and stay consistent with your diet. (its not too bad to have a cheat food once a week though)
You should also add chicken breast, turkey breast, and fish into your diet because they are all have high protein.

ay, CONGRATS!! Breaking that junk food addiction is probably one of the best thing you could do for your body. Watch "Super Size Me (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002OXVBO/qid=1139000094/sr=1-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-8109697-5001706?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=130)" or read "Fast Food Nation (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060938455/sr=1-1/qid=1139000132/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-8109697-5001706?%5Fencoding=UTF8)" if you havent already, and you want encouragement... You're definately on the right path!
Random tangent: There are these two obese women at my work (dont let me get started, lol)... they workout at Curves during lunch a couple times a week. Which is great. But more often than not, they pick up McDonald's on their way back to the office :hmm: It is all I can do to keep my mouth shut on that topic. I dont care if they did get a salad shaker, iceberg lettuce w/lowfat dressing is barely satisfying not to mention nutritious, and they also got fries.... SMH....
keep on!!

don't forget vegetables because its a good source of slow processing carbs, since you need them for overall muscle growth/fat burn.
You are definitely in the right path as far as diet is concerned, and if you're working out with high intensity in the gym you should see even more results in due time(soon).
keep lifting hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and eating hard and smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL @ your co-workers, maybe you need to give them some advice on nutrition & fitness. :)
Anyway, hows your workouts, diet going? have you started working out yet?

lol... I try to set a good example, other than that, I got nuffin I could politely say to those soda-swilling, chocolate-chomping women!

well, I am back on my yoga routine, which ROCKS, and am adding an additional class each week in Feb. I've totally cut back on drinking and smoking (cigarettes), so my body feels great (actually kind of sore right now from Wednesday's yoga class) and my b-friend confirms that I have lost a lil weight!!
My diet is generally good, and I'm active daily in terms of walking and stairs and things like that... so that's how I stay trim in general.
But I have to confess, I still havent gone into the gym :shame: I got a bunch of excuses tho, wanna hear em? nah, me neither heh. I actually have my workout stuff w/me today, was gonna go over lunch, but have lost my ID so I have to replace that THEN go... its noon now.... I can still do this....
Or, I was thinking, maybe I shouldnt go?? b/c as I mentioned I do have some muscle soreness, nothing terrible, the kind of soreness that actually feels good, really. My thighs and calves are most sore, but also my muscles in my upper back and shoulders... it was a great yoga class
What do you think, should I go for some light cardio? What's recommended?

Yeah, why not, you'll probably feel better afterwards. Just try and do less than 30 minutes of cardio(stationary bike, treadmill, elyptical, or stairmaster). Go on girl!!! :)

Its after 1:30
the HR person who has the form I need to get my ID is at some leisurely ass luncheon. I'm too hungry to wait any longer. Guess I'll just have to carry my gym bag around and look cool. :hmm:
*bangs head on wall*
I've been thwarted.... next week for sure!
