i know that i hurt you and i apologize for being selfish
here is my oath that it will never recur for i too felt it
after beholding the disappointment displayed in your eyes
i knew that i had strayed remotely off the path prescribed
your willingness to forgive me has made me feel unworthy
all who are of existance i am the one who least derserves the
the allowance of this oppurtunity made me dependable i promise
the bible will aid me in doing away with the sinful that's honest
we often fail when it comes to doing the work of the lord
so his pardon we often ask for in our quest for his reward
though perfect inhabitants we are not so mistakes often happen
i try to stay pure at heart so he may forgive me as he did samson
everyday i take the necessary steps that are needed to improve
praise the lord for showing me that my greatest blessing is you

I'm torn between what I like about you the most, I'm mean your pieces are slamming and yet you are always more than willing to offer support to others. I will def. not change hj, this is who I am.....I love poetry and all outlets in which a person can express themselves...and I truly enjoy the pieces that I read here...they give me inspiration and I read some of them when I got some things going on, I def. know the power of words....

SDG, I concur you definitely know the power of words as well as how to use them. I'll keep keepin' on and you the same my sister as you may well know, it takes many flavors to make one heck of a gumbo and more times than not the poetry corner be rockin' da pot. Have a great but safe weekend.
