After ignoring them for months I succumbed to the hype and downloaded Silent Alarm a few weeks ago. It's been getting crazy play so far. They're a really dope group. "Helicopter" is my favorite. I think with a more focused and polished sound they could really become one of the greats.

I damn near feel sorry for the other music on my iPod because it doesn't even get played anymore. All I've been listening to is Silent Alarm for a minute. I haven't played an album this much since Late Registration or Hot Fuss.

Great album.

Then when you listen to the album it's dope because the lyrical breadth of it. From songs like "Banquet" which is basically "I Wanna Be Your Dog" for sophisticated dancepunk dudes to "This Modern Love", "Price of Gas", etc. etc.e tc.

Yea thats my favorite song on the album too. I think they need to be on a diff label here in the states to get some shine though. I still dont understand why V2 didn't sign them for the Americas but has them everywhere else.

Great song. Those dudes are b!tches though. I was gonna go see them withmy wife and some friends in Sept. and they cancelled for a "throat infection" and ended up on Leno like the same night.
