Just heard his Illinois album. And wow. I'm not even gonna go on about why hes so good. He just is. Any other fans?

A neat fellow. I'm not sure he's deserving of the hype that he has gotten, but his albums are well put together.

Thats what I love about him. Plus the fact he can play pretty much any instrument under the sun. One of the most talented musicians ever.

If you know anything about song arrangements then you would appreciatee Sufjan... If you're just listening to the album as a whole and dont write your own music, I could see why it might go over your head.. Sufjan is the musician's musician...

I've played guitar/bass/drums for over 9 years and written my own music for around 5. So its well put together, that still doesn't make it all that listenable.
