There is no certain answer to that question. But I personally have alot more energy when I workout at around noon. It seems like my testosterone(sp?) levels are bit higher in the morning/noon time. however I usually workout at the end of the afternoon(5pm to 6pm).

I dont know about the best time... But a lot of people, including myself, have the best workouts in the evenings, after your blood has been flowing all day.

i agree...
i actually workout at around 4:30pm
I work out at anytime of the day, whenever I have the time or energy...
But I HEARD that the best time is in the morning. I believe that it was because after you work out, your body continues to burn calories for the rest of the day.

Best time is the morning because your testosterone levels are at their highest. Plus your rejuvenated (if your gettin proper sleep). I have my best workouts 25-40 minutes after I get up.
Even if you led a sedentary life and did nothing during the course of the day you still wouldn't have the same amount of energy you would have in the mornings.
Plus the gym is empty early in the morning :D

The gym I frequent is also pretty empty in the mornings all the up to 2pm.

I went to Trinidad for winter break but I'm back now and ready for the gym tommorow morning.

But anyway, yea, it is easier in the mornings to seriously get it done and leave. I'll probably start going in the morning when i begin college.

maybe its just me...but i always feel weak for the first few hours i wake up...i can never do the reps i usually do when i lift in the morning....afternoon or early evening i kill the gym.
