I got the album and it's really, really good. The subject amtter is not for most people (transexual dude wanting to be a woman) but the dude is a great singer. His duet with Boy George is great. Seriously, this is gay, definitively so, yet if you can't get beyiond the lyrics you kinda suck. This album has replaced "Grace" as my depression album.

Found the album a little 'samey' but definitely some great moments, particularly the above song and the you Are My Sister with Boy George

i thought this was the most overrated piece of crap in years. i just don't get it.
the song w/ rufus wainwright happens to be good though. and this album brings homosexual to all sorts of new, unchartered frontiers.

Yeah, this isn't going to be an across the board, well loved album, but at least you gave it a shot.

I got the self titled album...its decent. I honestly couldn't give a **** about his social life....but the music itself is defintely a little overhyped...the first three songs are hot but i dunno...it just gets a little tedious after a while. the guy has defintely got a really unique voice though.

Definitely on some other sh1t but this album was cool; Hope Theres Something is a great song, and dudes voice is cool in a really different way from most lead singers. Their use of violins is sick too.
