Why is Lupe & Fab beating the Dips/Byrd Gang to the punch regarding a statement for the death of one of their own? Even though this thread is primarily jokey joke the fact of this is quite sad. Max B, rots in jail. One of your young guns is snuffed out. I'm not saying they should run out an bust their guns but really though what have they said or done regarding this?

I think that would be the best outcome for them...
When you have a crew made up of a failed basketball player, a unshaved hanger on, a naive youngin', the old head who used to get your beer for you who just came home, and a bunch of other ignoratti in your crew you should really have your sword a lot sharper and plan alot better. When you look at the social standing of the people that make up this crew you can see they were all dudes looking for a better life and were trying to achieve that through their rap dreams. However in their quest to "keep it real" has lead them to become completely derailed. Guys are getting robbed, shot, publically embarassed, and sadly killed all in the sake of maintaining some sort of "aura" to sell records. This crew of Peters have cried one too many times and now all the wolves are coming out and are too close to be held at bay... The cautionary tale is this:
If you're trying to make it out the 'hood, do what you gotta do. However now that you got money don't start trying to act more 'hood than you were acting when you still lived there. Enjoy your success, do what you can do but don't try and move into the lion's cage when you've spent your life trying to move from sleeping on top of it, and then get made when you get bitten, mauled, or eaten.
