Journey from cradle to the grave;
clashes heads on with realms of eternal.
It seems the longer we live as mortals; the closer we get to the enferno.
Lord it's hard for me to believe you perceive our deeds with zero tolerance. We're emersed in sin, and cant help to be about it a little bit.

Temporary remedies to escape from the fall.
I know that it's wrong, but the right way takes too long.
I try to stay strong; but then I crumble like a bi*ch.
With my nose to the wall and my back to the fence.

Since I was small, I had these dreams of being rich.
Seein' a big house with some cars, sittin' clean on some rims.
But now if I don't eat then I starve. No time to dream tryin' to live.
The nights used to gleam with the stars, but this world clouded me from it's glints.

Sometimes I get lost in thought so long-
I feel like a vagabond distraught since he lost his home.
Torn from the spot he fought so hard to keep all he known his own.

And I wanna give up...
Like the sands on the shores of time.
To get lost in the drift only to exhist as a myth in the ocean tides.

I'm feelin the whole piece but these two lines had me choking on a chicken bone..

It is imperative you stick around for a while, for SOHH's sake, We've been missing this type of poetic profundity..Dunno if you're gunna get back to battlin, but seeing you raise the bar in Open Mic suggests you should...

yo man, i like the whole piece. I'm not one the SOHH daily's but i liked it man... most of the stuff i don't read all the way through. It was real deep. The struggle of every man. You should check out this writer named Watchman Nee, he put out a book called THE LATEN POWER OF THE SOUL. It's pretty deep man. Focuses on the power of man's spirit and basically how was it was supposed to be used... and what the world has conformed it to be. ANyway man, i liked this. Thanks and you stay blessed.
