Who had the better album in 2005, Depeche Mode or New Order? My vote goes to Depeche Mode, although both albums are freaking fantastic.

Nah man. They both put out what is easily the worst albums of their careers. I love both DM and NO and have for a long ass time but I can't co-sign these new albums, they're like bad cover bands.

Talk to some fans or go to the NO or DM message board, the general concensus is that these are great albums, so either a) you just don't care for the albums yourself or b) you only listened to them like twice.

General consensus? Like every magazine giving them at best 3 stars? Like everyone I know saying "Don't get them, they're bad"? Like me having to force myself to listen to either band when I've loved their music for years? General consensus my ass, b!tch.
