Just got this b1tch...it's basically a Mars Volta without vocals. All the song titles are in german I think. Sh1t is sick so far though, right now I'm jammin this song called "Regenbogen stelen van prostituees" and god damn their sax player is fuccin murdering it. Holy sh1t the Mars Volta have owned 2005. Frances The Mute, Scabdates, and now this self titled Omar album.

Their progression from Tremulant EP to this is insane. And the addition of their sax player makes them twice as good. If the next real Mars Volta album is like this it could be their best album yet.

mad props, but sh1t's a 3.5 at best. it's decent to listen to once or twice, but i'd throw it in the trash if i actually bought it.

Do you listen to much jazz? I'm a big fan of Herbie Hancock thats why I can appreciate an album like this.
