In general you need at least 3 or more days a week in the gym/fitness/calensthenics(sp?) plus a solid diet in order obtain any solid/consistent gains(losing weight, increasing muscle mass, or anything else).

i disagree, i think if ur diet was right or at the very least improved. (say no soda, or fried food) and u did a decent full body workout u would see slow minimal results, but results. Also if u say started using the stairs instead of elevator or walk to the corner store instead drive, u would see noticeable results.
The only question is with the slowness of it would u stick to it or lose motivation

Even if you're consistent, it would only help a little...it's still better than nothing of course. It's ok to ease into a routine that way, but for overall health and stress benefits, you need to work out three days a week for 30-60 minutes.
