Is it just me or is coldplay radio head for metrosexuals

is it something that they are saying? Do I have to look past the horrible sounding music to get it? I mean, Coldplay is melodic, its not terrible, but the singer sounds like crap to me, and Radiohead just sounds like wimpering, wtf am I missing, and how are they regarded so highly?

That's almost a good comparison but they aren't that different in most respects. IT's just that prententious bastards are as bad about Radiohead as Pac stans are about Pac.
