You can choose the end result but not the process.

Audioslave.

I know on record they sometimes sound a little blah, but they put on an amazing live show and have some fantastic songs. Wish I could say the same for Velvet Revolver.

Dude above me is on f*cking crack.

Audioslave is softer than my featherdown duvet (& that's f*cking soft).

Slash's riffs are too strong. Dave is talented, but he's not f*cking with Slash and nor is Chris Cornell f*cking with Scott Weiland on the level we're talking on.

(( Give Chris Cornell a better direction and i wouldn't be saying what i'm saying right now ))

Scotts lyrics have gone to absoloute sh*t, he is a shell of his former self. While Audioslave isnt always rockin hard, they put out much better music then Velvet Revolver.

Slash is the man, but Tom is one of the best guitarists around in my book, dude stays being innovative.

Velvet Revolver stays being cheesy rock.

Both are overhyped to ridiculous levels. The thing is the only band out of the four re-combinant bands that either is better than is STP. To compare them with their former bands is stupid because as yet they aren't anywhere close to the same level. IT's like trying to compare Coverdale/Page to Led Zeppelin.

Whoa, hold up. That confused me, did you just say that they are both better then STP?

I like both. Wasn't expecting to, but I do.

I think The Audioslave lyrics make more sense (typically). In terms of heaviness, it's gonna be Velvet Revovler, but I don't really like that type of heaviness. I like the harder metal stuff, like MetaLLICA and Slayer mroe than Guns and Roses.

yes. At least STP after Purple. Before that they were okay, after that they were garbage.

Audioslave

Velvet Revolver just sounds too dated, recycled, and predictable.
