I f*cked up yesterday. I couldn't run due to hangover. I only ran a measley 1.5 miles before my headache effectively ended my workout.
today i will run my full 3 miles and do some weight lifting as well. then i'll get up at 5:30 and run another 3 miles before work again.
Today did my normal home routine in the morning - each for a few minutes:
Push-ups
Jumps
Crunches/Sit-ups
Jumps
Jumping jacks
Then later at the gym for 1hr:
Warmed up first with light weights for about 8-10 mins.
Stiff legged deadlift fast fix
Squat fast fix
Back, abdominal muscles,chest and cardiovascular exercises (2 sets)
Biceps, triceps, abdominal muscles, and cardiovascular exercises (2 sets)
I got on the treadmill but could only last for 5 mins because I was extra nackered for some reason.
I went on Saturday night @ 11:00 p.m.! I did arms, cardio and abs. Since I pigged out yesterday on Miller lite and hot dogs (gross) I'm hitting the gym HARD tomorrow morning before work. I'd go tonight but i'm still f'n hungover. Awful.

whew, got up at 4:30 am. hit the track @ 5:30 am. knocked out my 3 miles and I'm done for the day already.
woke up at 6:30 and went to the gym. Did chest, abs, and cardio!

Ran 3 miles yesterday. Gonna start upping the mileage, because it's getting easy.I think I'll start running 5 miles.

Went this morning. Did 3 exercises for back, push-ups, 4 excercises for abs, and then 25 minutes on the eliptical.
Last night... back day
Deadlift 4 x 5
Chin/Pull up (various grips) 4 x 6-10
Seated Cable Row 3 x 8-10
Seated Cable Row (w/ tricep rope pulled to face, for rear delts) 3 x 10-12
stood around and waited for a lat pulldown station for about 10 minutes
gave up and moved on to...
Plate loaded high row machine 3 x 8-10
Plate loaded lat pulldown 3 x 8-10
Reverse pec deck flye 3 x 10
Dumbbell Shrugs 3 x 15

I stepped it up!! Ran 5.14 miles today. I stopped a couple of times for a brisk walk, and b/c my headphones were acting up. I usually like to run a different route each time, but I'm gonna stick to this route until I run the whole thing

i've been taking runs thru these routes that these farmer's set up... but after hunting season started im not taking any chances.
now i gotta take the route passing an alcoholic / drug home...plus its been raining like crazy lately. im thinking about (for the first time in my life) joining a real gym or a swim hall....

went this morning but I woke up late so I wasn't able to do any lifting. I only did 25 minutes on the cardio and abs. I will do shoulders hopefully tonight...maybe even do cardio again. phuck it

I usually hop on the treadmill and go around 5 miles (alternating between jogging and walking) and then do weights for a 45 minutes or so. Been doing it for a few months.
Not sure if I like my results so far. It was trying to lose fat and gain muscle, but all I've really done is lose fat (and I wasn't overweight in the first place). I haven't really gotten any bigger, in fact I've actually lost weight. I think I weigh around 160 now.
Maybe I'm not eating enough.

there's your 2+2. You doin' mad cardio. You not gonna bulk up running 5 miles a day, or several days a week, however you're doing it.

Try doing weights first and cardio after.
Muscle growth has several required prerequisites: muscle tension, time under tension, anabolic hormones (i.e., testosterone, growth hormone, insulin-like growth factor and insulin), Amino Acids, calories and rest. Eliminate any of these and progress grinds to a halt and muscles won't grow.

And like Wondah_Woman said, 5 miles of cardio is a LOT if your goal is trying to build muscle.

I forgot to check-in on Friday and Saturday. Did shoulders, abs and cardio on Friday and then did arms, abs, and cardio on Saturday. Chilled the PHUCK out yesterday however! Might do chest tonight or tomrorow morning..not shure yet.

God, I finally made it this morning. Well, to be fair, I went yesterday morning but all I did was abs because I had to take care of some shyt before work (my gym's in my building hence me going only for a 10 minute ab workout).
This morning I did chest and cardio. Gotta do abs tonight at home after work.

I didnt go today but I went Tues Weds and Thurs of this week from like 515am to 615am.
I will pro go 2morrow morning they open @ 7am
went this morning. Ran a mile, did shoulders, did abs, then ran another mile. I think about about to do cardio twice a day so I'ma do elliptical for 25 minutes later on today.

Been slacking.
Hate to use a generic excuse, but I started a new job last week, and after being stuck somewhere 9-6 you just don't feel like going to workout. And I was too busy being drunk/hungover last weekend to workout. :smh:
Oh well, at least my metabolism's good enough that I don't really have to worry about unwanted weight gain. I'm hitting the gym hard Saturaday and Sunday tho.
my plan is to do cardio twice a day...like I said earlier I ran 2 miles this morning when I did my weight lifting and abs. This evening I went back and did 25 minutes of elliptical. Then I went to the courts and shot around (dolo :( ) for about 20 minutes.

6:30am this morning......I like my new gym, it's not crowded around that time , plus it's right next to my job(which is why I picked it ) I can park my car at my job and then walk over to them gym.
sh1t is alittle pricey tho, even with my jobs discount it's still $63 a month.

Im not gonna lie yall....I think Ima take 2 weeks off from the gym....my job has metaking 2 weeks off to do a martial arts course for my promotion.....8 hrs of hand to hand combat n sh1t a day for 2 weeks.....I know if I work out on top of that it will be counterproductive

went Monday night. Ran 2.3 miles and did back and shoulders and abs.
Went to the gym last night... did my warm up on flat bench... put on my usual weight... then proceeded to fukk up my rotator cuff. I didn't wanna leave after 1 set so I just did some flyes and dips all night. Now I'm paying the price... This is hurting like a mofo and I'll probably be out of action for about 2 weeks =(
