Yeah ur very right, I guess I just couldn't help myself these past few days. Its really hard to just sit around and not be active when ur use to being active at track practice and going to the gym. My knee is getting much better actually, a lot of the swelling has gone down and I can walk on it again...just got a lil pimp limp lol. I went to the gym today for like 30 mins...I think its getting stronger. I'll be careful and I'm going to see my dr next week.

just checking in... I <3 lunchtime workouts for the fact that I get energized for the whole rest of the day! I'd also like to send a shout to to the hottie on the treadmill who was facing towards me while I was glistening my ass off on the elliptical... boy, you made me give it that EXTRA effort, I appreciate that!

I don't work out in a gym anymore... I just do chin ups, push ups, and I bike about 50-70 miles a week... I look and feel great...

Nice.
I been biking, too... to/from work, feels great! even tho I dont really go that far... and considering most of the ride home is downhill, I'm probly getting less of a workout than if I walked lol, but biking is FUN

Downhill both ways? :p
But yea biking is really good... you get strength and cardio if you push yourself, it doesn't put a lot of stress on your joints, and with a good soundtrack it's a lot of fun. Plus where I live, there's a huge park with a nice track... it's like a whole subculture here. I've always needed cardio but hated running... biking was the answer. Good stuff... I'm in the best shape of my life

that's part of why I'm hittin the gym tho, to try and build muscle to make that morning ride a bit more effortless...

You'll probably never see me in this thread again but I had to cosign dude right here.
I'm able to do a solid 40 mins on the treadmill running but I got a bike back in May and I feel better than I've ever felt before.
I'll ride for 40-60 mins several times a week. Changing up the gears constantly and would recommend bike riding to anyone.
Great information duke.

I just signed up at the local Y... been gettin my 'clink clink' on for the past week, I love it. I used to work out but never did my back and legs... I'm doing squats and deadlifts on top of my regular routine, it's wonderful.
Had to fall back a bit on the biking but I'm gonna order a new road bike this weekend.

i'm on my fitness grind, but i'm pretty sore right now.. 'cause i've ran 3-4 miles the past 3 workouts i've had, and i've been using leg/ass muscles that my normal cardio routines don't really use (bikes, and some swimming).. i'd like to stay with the running if i can, though.. i'm gonna tough this sore period out.

I lied about buying a new road bike. But I have been going to the gym 3 times a week. And no I don't use the colored weights girls do PRETTYTONY.
So far so good as you can see. Should be back to my old tricks by the start of autumn.

you're nowhere near "fat", you nincompoop!
i've been getting outside to jog and speed-walk more for my cardio. i got sick of my indoor sh1t, i was finding it hard to get motivated to climb on and stay at it. once i get outside with nature and my music, i'm perfectly happy SMAO (sweating my ass off).

lmao@smao
man, jogging outside is so fun, but it took a toll on my aged knees without even going that far for that long  I'm sticking to the treadmill now, even with the trapped-on-the-hamster-wheel feeling it gives me sometimes
re fat asses, it's all relative love... and I got the dimples to prove it! but oh-oh, just realized I got NO business in this thread today

Thanks! Yeah, been trying to keep hella active since Summer is gone, but its tough. I hit a plateau, so lately I'm trying to work harder to get passed it. But through summer till now I dropped 32 pounds.
I hear you about the time, my work is really close to my gym so I just go right when I get out. Its rough for me to go on the weekends, but I try.
