Today:

I didn't go to the gym today. I did an exercise video. I did a 45min Victora Johnson Powershaping II video that focuses on cardio and wieght training. I worked with 3lb and 5lb dumbells.

My trainer had me work on my Legs,I cant remember the name of the machines but I did about 15-25 reps each for about 30 mins.Tommorrow im gonna work on them and my Arms(Which are hella tight from the workout on Friday)for a good 1-2 hrs.

I work out 3 times a week on a good week...I work out my arms Sunday, then my back or chest about Tuesday and whatever's left Thursday. I'm really debating joining a gym though as I have to start doing squats to maximize my gains.

Anyways last night I did arms...
Kickbacks, 10 reps x 4 @ 20#
Lying extensions, 10 reps x 4 @ 20#x 2
Cable pushdowns, 10 reps x 4 @ 50#
Standing curls, 10 reps x 4 @ 20# x 2
Standing "reverse brach" curls, 10 reps x 4 @ 10# x 2
Concentration curls, 10 reps x 4 @ 15# x 2

One of my homies has a full gym at his house so I'll probably hit his place up to do my legs and back. I was doing abs a lot as well but I do no cardio, so as far as my abs, I see more results from just eating properly than doing 100 decline situps. I'm pretty happy with my torso; I just want to get bigger lats. The main thing I wanna work on are my arms and abs.

I completed an intense regimen of getting off the couch to get more chips and soda, repositioned myself enough times on the lay-z-boy so that the busted spring wouldn't go up in my butt.

... pretty much it, wanted to focus on cardio. Need to look good for labor day weekend.

I've had the last two replies to this. Wowza!

Anyway, I got in morning workout (shocker!). 20 mins. on the treadmill, 15 mins. on the elliptical machine (cardio workout = really fast). Plus some lateral pulls. And I felt really good in the morning getting to work.

Maybe I'll get back tomorrow.

Three in a row for me. Wow.

Went to the gym for the third time this week. (which rarely happens.) Did 20 mins. on the treadmill and 10 on the bike. No time for weights (had to get to work).

I'm noticing a little difference. Oh, and no fast food at all. Not even a donut.

Its been a while since I've posted my workouts here (even though I train religiosly).

Anyway, yesterday (monday) was chest+arms day:

incline BB bench press, 6 sets:
2 warm up sets (135lbs), 10 fast reps and 5 slow reps with a pause at the bottom part of lift.
4 workout sets (155lbs to 265lbs), 8 reps on 1st set and 2 reps on last set.

incline dumbbell press, 4 sets:
2 sets with 60lbs DBs, 12 reps
2 sets with 90lbs DBs, 6 reps

dips, 4 sets, 8 to 10 reps

(tris)Rope pulldowns, 4 sets, 8 reps
superset with cambered small bar pulldowns.

DB iso curls, 4 sets, 12 reps.

seated DB curls, 3 sets, 8 reps.



It was a good day at the "office", as usual.

sunday- indoor soccer for 40 min...got kicked on the back of my calf (where shinguard wasn't protecting) & now have a big ass bruise...hurts like hell

monday- 1 hour yoga

tuesday (last night)- 3 mile run on treadmill, 30 min on rower, mix of ab & leg strength training stuff

i dont ever feel like writing it out, because i doubt anyone really cares.

1st day i do chest and Bi's
2nd i do shoulders, abs and legs
3rd i do back n tri's

next three days, cycle repeats, sundays off - abs vary 2-3 times a week depending on when i feel like doin em...i hate straight up cardio machine work, so ima wait for the basketball court at the y near me to open (renovation) and ima start doin cardio there later this month

Haven't checked in for a bit, but I'm up to going four times a week. I go in the morning since I almost have no time or am too tired to go after work. Besides, it gives me a bounce to start the day (and to deal with my boss :dry: ).

I do chest and triceps on one day, then shoulders and legs, then back and biceps.

And I always do 30 mins. of cardio (stationary bike, treadmill and elliptical) and some leg lifts for the stomach.

Still a work in progress, but the clothes are feeling looser. I'm feelin' good.

I was doing chest/bi's one day, legs/shoulders the next, and back/tri's on the next day, and repeating that the next 3 days with sundays off... but this week i decided to split my days and only work one each day, isolate and go hard 6 days giving myself time to rest and not overwork myself into exhaustion

alternating abs/15 minutes cardio each day ( i never run and do legs the same day tho)

Got back at it this afternoon.

20 mins. on the treadmill.
4 sets of 15 reps on the incline press, chest press and chest fly.
4 sets on the tricep pulls.
10 minutes on the stationary bike.

Feel kinda sore, but I'm glad I went.

I may not do weights if I go tomorrow.

went to the gym really late tonight around 10:45 pm but it has its benefits, the gym was virtually empty....today was leg day:

4 sets of squats (8-12 rep range)
3 sets of **** squats (8-12 reps) superset with seated calf raises (heavy weight, low reps)
3 sets of leg curls
3 sets of leg curls
2 sets of leg press supersetted with calf raises

was too dead to do the last set of leg press, barely walked out of the gym.....tomorrow's my one rest day of the week

So I been on crutches for 3 weeks and maybe some change. My sides and upper arm area feels damn near raw from em. So I been tryin to taper off cuz my knee feels a lil better. I broke the rules and went to the gym yesterday and the day b4 but I only did a 45min workout each day. Strange thing is I was fine afterwards but today while trying to walk without them I got an awful pain in my knee.

...I'm using my crutches for the rest of the day. :(
