I Hate MTV & BET...so I am always on the lookout for some good underground/indie sh!t...What are some Bands that you love that either arent in the mainstream, are unknown, or that people just don't talk about much or Like at all...?

BrianJonestown Massacre and AutoLux are the bands that I've been feelin latley but don't hear much about...

I dig them...they have a way RICH cali sound...very melodic with occasional dope riffage...i'll see if i can upload some of there music some time soon :cool:

The Wildhearts, one of Englands greatest rock bands :yes:

You could start with anyone of their albums, but I like "Greetings from shiitsville" & "PHUQ" above them all. "Don't Be Happy Just Worry" is good, but they really started to click after that album.

I guess they get described a lot as a "post-punk" sound, but they're pretty unique. Darker themes hidden in very catchy tunes. All of their albums are pretty great IMO. Lead singer Brian Molko is kinda reminiscent of Gordon Gano and old Billy Corgan.

Anyone heard of idlewild? Check out 100 Broken windows and they're newest sh*t is remote part which is also good.

Explosions in the sky play really chill melodic stuff and they're defintely worth checking out. Be sure to :smoker: though lol

Oasis is known but mostly forgotten by the new crowd! They **** on the bands out now and are a big influence on Coldplay who seem to be Americas fav right now.

Yeah I have a friend that just got into different genres of music besides Hip Hop about a year ago. A few months ago he asked if I had heard this song Lyla by this new band Oasis. :laugh: I let em borrow the first two and now he even loves em.

They were in the movie Road Trip and on the soundtrack; just some local Bay Area band

Idlewild is pretty sick. They remind me of Seaweed almost.
