I have alot of tapes i gotta trasfer over from the old stretch and bob shows.. Im glad I got to be a part of that whole era and was up there a few times as well... .man those were the times, staying up late just to catch the newest joints..I even got songs i still dont know who the artists are ..but are so hot.. anyway this is my first post ... thought i was appropriate i add on.

I actually listened to "Milky" like ten minutes ago. All of these joints youre sayin are hard-to-find, are like daily listens for me and my people, fam'. I have that and the Redman Freestyle with Biz on the same CD. LOL!I'll upload them now, for my folk on here.

I spoke with Finesse earlier about some other shyt. And I brought up the night he brought the SP up to the show, with KRS. Even he was like, he didnt understand how I kept all those old shows from back then.

VERY easy to find, for me. I have three versions of this. This is the Mister Cee version, it has the best quality. Stretch & Bob only played this twice, and talked over it both times.

crazy, all SOHH snapping and joking aside, on some real sh1t, I gained immeasurable respect in a certain way for a lot of posters in this thread. I mean, I don't care who knocks Galvatron for his 50 Cent posts, dude gets respect from me for being a Thursday night soldier!

All this talk truly reminds me of how much I loved rap growing up, how it was one of the most significant forces in my life.... sh1t makes me mad wistful...
I been going through my collection an its straight memory lane.All this is my pre CD days.....hiphop lost alot when stretch an bob ended.....its like there is no way to get underground artist who are up an coming anymore and its sickening that when rappers go on hot 97 they cant curse...it ruins everything

not only can you not see me with the stretch armstrong stuff but I also used to tape Martin Moore an DJ mayhem on NYU an J smoove an the underground railroad on WBAI on sundays

one time NYU had the roots up there for an entire show with they band an they had thought spitting with lord tariq an half a mill.......black thought blacked out that night that is one of my most cherished tapes ever.....no roots fan can front on this tape.

cucumber slice was like the unofficial member.......Its obvious why stretch an bob wnet they seperate ways..Bobbito started to despise the hiphop that stretch liked..stretch was into major figgas an 50 an modern hardcore sh1t an bobbito wanted company flow an necro an ill bill

My WNYU collection is just as crazy, I was actually there the night that, The Roots was up there. It actually took two nights to make this show happen. They couldnt get the amps for instruments to work the first night, so they came back the next night to do it. It was them, Natural Elements, Lord Tariq, Sadat X, Half-A-Mil, etc. Very classic, I can upload that for the people too, if need be.
