What Up Kao happy belated St. patricks Day

I got a old tape from the Martin Moore Show aroun 93 on NYU that showcased Tragedy bringing up Capone & NORE for the first time to play their DEMO....And they were cursing like sh*t and Martin Moore had to tell them to stop...This was maybe a only a couple of weeks after Capone and Nore hooked up to be a group and then later on they were featured in the UNSIGNED HYPE column of the SOURCE....The DEMO song was WACK though...lol

Im still waitin 4 Ralp McDaniels 2 release all his shows on DVD, I stay tellin that ngga he sittin on a gold mine, they dont get how big the demand is 4 real hiphop especially old school

My other wish, Yo! MTV Raps n Rap City get put on DVD season by season, then I can go to heaven, officially the rite way

Yo Galv, tell me u got videos of the shows from TV, say word.

channle 31 with a fukked up reception because brooklyn aint get cabelvision until 94(well the bedsty section I was in)I taped videos religiously once I got cable but i now mosty buy hiphop classics on DVD

let me tell you how much I used to tape..........I did not start buying CDs until 2000..all my hiphop is on cassette until 2000.

I have since transfered everything to cd buy dowloading an **** but if you ever saw my hiphop collection it would all be cassette.I stopped tapeing like a fiend when stretch left hot 97 in early 2002

One of the HUMBLE moments of the show was when the FUGEES had already sold DIAMOND and Wylef passe by 89tech9 to show love to Stretch and Bob at like 2A.M. cuz after artists blew up they never came back

Galv I don't know if I have more tapes than u of the show but I can give u a run for ya money...I would never stream it online cuz alotta cats dont deserve it...They dont know the struggle of stayin up from 1-5 pausing and unpausin your tape to record that GEM

Remember when Strectch played AFFIRMATIVE ACTION...He only had it on MINI DISC and when he played it everyone went wild...It blew out his mini disc player and speakers...

I got that show on tape classic moment, remembers Bob playin Nas in May of 96 with the Foulness freestyles and was unimpressed and let almost every caller call n diss Nas cuz he sold out, the nerds were heated that night

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're the first person I know who even remembers that song being played. Like I said, I have a distorted copy on tape. So incredibly dope.

That sample is from "lady in my life," trust me. He loops the part in the song when MJ says "meet me in paradise, now is the time." If you EVER find it on MP3 you have to let me know. YOU HAVE TO. And just because you've been searching for that song just like I have, I promise you, I'll PM you if I ever get a hold of this sh1t!

um..i remember this song too...easy...unfortunately i didnt like it so i doubt i have it still...but another gem that i still got from them is hurricane g feat redman & e. sermon -milky...

I remember my first pair of Girbauds. I bought a pair of dark green skinny cowboys, not knowing what the fukk i was doing. I wore them once maybe, i just assumed they were all baggy, but boy was i wrong. Its cool though, after that i started getting right, going to Urban Outfitters in the village, and this other store a few blocks down (i forget the name right now, but it was a block or two further down along Broadway, and right next to a gas station. I got on tape Bob biggin up Fat Joes's 1st song, him lovin G Rap who at da time was doin hits on wax execution style.

That gangsta sht was there 4 a while, 90, 91 was when it was all freestyle n Tribe LONS type sht with Black Sheep

92 was when u had Cypress Hill n WU start to come with gritty grimey sht

Lets not forget Black Moon who basically set off the Kill u ngga die slow sht with that BK grimey sht, Bob love all that sht
