When I first heard that joint,my nicca from the Chi brought it down here and at the time,I was sidin' wit' Bad Boy.I couldn't say sh!t when I heard that song.I was like :ohmy: .The part that gets me is at the end when he wasn't even rappin',he was talkin',and I was like,"damn,Pac is pissed off!!"
I got respect for both as artists.

I felt that the beef was going back and forth and the media only made it a bigger situation, but when I heard "Hit Em Up" I was like woah. Even though they was going there their drama I would never wish anybody getting mercked on wax cuz ain't no coming back from that. "Hit Em Up" was vicious by right of content. When you heard what he was saying, you were holding your breath back. That track clowned Big Boys horribly, so bad that you could never forget "Hit Em Up". How do you defend somebody ****ing your wife? And the adlibs at the end of HEP were CLASSIC. That sickle cell **** about Mobb Deep was hilariously funny. The adlibs enough murdered Big Boys "Now you tell me who won, they see me they run." This **** has to be one of the worst public clownings I've ever seen somebody take. Don't forget that line about Lil Kim getting here "ugly ass" snatched up.
