i know i made a post about the CMAs having a ****** "country" rapper in general discussion, but i feel that this must be heard. country music is one of my favorite music genres, but it has strayed away from its roots(bluegrass). when the group, Big & Rich started on the radio, i feel that they spat on the graves of traditional country musicians, because they mix country music with cRap. whenever i analyze rap being mixed with certain forms of heavy metal, i can see how they can somewhat coexist. these Big and Rich boys call thier music, country music without prejudice. as far as i know, country music has never been prejudice. take Charlie Pride for example, he is black and he left a mark on country music(originally i thought he was white until i saw a picture of him, to this day i still don't know what to think). how can these guys say that country music is bigoted. at the CMAs, as they performed, they had a midget in a pink, feathery hat, including one of the singers wearing one, and they had a huge "cowboy" ****** come on the stage and start rapping. how can the country music industry tolerate something like this?? it is bad enough that slutty musicians like shania twain are called country music, when she is more of a pop singer. now Tim McGraw is doing songs with rapper Nelly. WTF!!!! I am just glad that traditional bluegrass music has not been invaded by ******s.
