LOL@this nicca's reppin! Here's a perfect example of a Jay-Z fan in denial. I'm a bigger Jay-Z fan than a Nas fan. I got more Jigga albums than Nas albums and rarely do I listen to Nas ****. jay won career wise.....but we arent talking about careers.this was a rap battle,and nas won the battle.also,nas is the better musician overall and jay is more of a sellout(although nas tried to sell out and failed).....so in the long term nas will have a better rep,and will win again......lol.both will have support and go down as legends amongst their fanbases....but i think nas will go down a great amongst hip hop fans in general.he's just better than,and different to and more versatile than,a great deal of the past decade or so's rap artists

I was listening to Ether the other day and I noticed that when Nas says something about Jay-Z thinking he look hot now cause he kept his face in Foxy's puss, Nas is in the background saying 'Girls Girls Girls Girls' mocking that song Jay made in the Blueprint. good point.....but selling records doesnt make you a good rapper.if selling means quality,then that random song eminem put out recently(cant remember the title......the one insulting michael jackson etc in the vid) must be a classic songs because it did well with sales.

also,more people would go for nas as a better artist....but it is subjective for every individual.
