I was born in babylon, most my life played the pawn, now im sittin around tryin to get it on, tryin to get up get out and get somethin, but somethins wrong, i dont belong in babylon, my wills strong and my breathe is long, deep and slow, my mind grows with each respiration, sweatin out impurities with each persperation, like a baby i run around tastin, lifes flavors thats glazin on top of the surface, so i scratch beneath it to look inside, deep in the depths of the insanity, the whole universe my family, vast like the space between neurons, my transmitters occupy the space of receptors, my brain connections got diversity like vectors, my brain sectors stretch out far and wide, picking up static that other people hide, pourin out light on the dark side, do or do not there is no try, or so said the little green man, with the hairy ears so i dont plan, on listenin to him cuz he a scam, prolly got a deal with bankers known as the Man, i stand tall in a minefield, starin down my enemies who reel back with shock, lock stock and barrel, im ferocious and feral, like an iron lion zion, babylon is dyin, each time i light a spliff, i lift my brain and sift my thoughts, i try not to get caught in a trap, the po nine crap be gettin hectic these days, makin you look criminal in so many ways, even before you even turned the page, they closed and threw the book at you in a drunken rage.
