Ok...Happenstance came pretty nice, he had a nice flow and some nice vocab. His punches didn't hit quite as hard as they could of, but they did make an impact. There was a little filler but overall a good drop.
Gross, I think you're getting tired or something bro. The majority of your punches came off fairly weak apart from a couple lines I liked. Your concepts seemed pretty forced. Your flow was alright for the most part. Overall, we both know you can do better.
Like always Im giving it to the more overall consistent verse.

that seems like to much work for this, but anyways on to the vote.
happenstance: your verse was comedy u clearly came at gr0ss and called out some points that had me laughing. this was the best i've seen u drop on here. u had a good flow, punches were soild, & it was just a overall good drop.
gr0ss: i've always like your style on here. yours also was a hard hitting punch verse, with good wordplay(which u always are on), but i don't think your overall verse was better this time.

This was a pretty good battle. Overall, I give it to happenstance. Both verses were very close in quality, but I give the edge to Hap because he went first but still seemed to be more vicious and less cliche'd than gr0ss. gr0ss, you had a lot of punches that could have been executed better. I agree with Prop, you seem to be running out of steam a little...cut back on the amount of battles you're in to conserve your creative energy.
Also, seeing my name in your loss column reminds me that it's time to rectify that. ;) So after you've taken a rest, start up the contact v. gross round 2 thread, this time YOU post first.

I liked both verses but i'mma go wit happenstance on this one. he came correct from jumpstreet ans stayed on a sardonic yet poised attack, the flow was here and there but never got to a point where it was bad, tighten that up and u'll be STRAIGHT, whereas gr0ss was spotty a few times and referencing specific points of your opposition's attack in a one round battle isn't a good idea because it gives them an edge from the extent that it seems like they got in your head a bit. and unfortunately gr0ss you did that twice homie... downplay the opponent by clowning them back HARDER not refutting their lines so to speak. this was/ is the best battle going currently from what I read.. both of you KEEP this **** up!!!!
