im going to the University of Manitoba for my first year then either out to B.C./Alberta or Toronto for more specialized schooling

you dont know boredom until you travel through Saskatchewan. at least Manitoba is partially scenic. that province is probably one of the most boring and stale places on earth.

but your right, at least we have our sweet sweet hockey. what you need to do is get the hell out of texas and move up here, i dont think i've ever seen a texan, let alone a texan chick dig hockey like that

only thing i'd miss about TX is being so damn close to the beach & having such easy access to the water year round. :( if what i hear about Vancouver having nice beaches is true..it shouldn't be to much of a problem.

oh, we have the stifling heat and humidity too. manitoba is hot and humid as hell during the summer. thats why we get the best of both worlds, the hot sweaty days and those days that your balls freeze off just by stepping outside

i'm a fan, i aint that into them though. ill go watch an occasional game or something but nothing major. i might get season tickets for next season though seeing as how im gonna be living in the city

yeah, understandable. i hoped the wild would do good, i just didnt want to see them beat the Canucks. that does suck about anaheim, not that i have anything against NJ though either. it just sucks that there are two boring ass teams in the finals
