ehh...his flow is lacking and he's not gonna make you drop your jaw, but he has solid messages in his music.

check out I Pledge 1 and 2. dude is a fukking problem and i love the message he's trying to instill through his music. call me corny but i find his music VERY inspirational.

some songs to get you started

bad day, worst day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_XP6l44Yq0)

That's life (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt9X1gvz728)

Pressure feat Ice Cube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1Hs52GDcU8&feature=fvw)

God In The Building (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8UvabgYT0A)

bu i really suggest you start with the "I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind Volume 1" album. then get volume 2. then you might get into the earlier stuff.

EDIT: by the way, can you explain what the argument on killer mike was about exactly?

lol, matter of fact this thread is gonna make me throw some killer mike albums into the rotation.

"If i can't eat right, i can't sleep right..." that shyt is catchy as fukk. plus it makes you in the mood to grind harder and accomplish stuff.

Naw...Underground Atlanta is a complilation with various ATL rappers and a couple others from different spots, that Mike put together and put out independently...16 In the Kitchen is his next proper solo album that'll be coming out on Grand Hustle...though the name might be changed since it's been a while since he announced it...plus Yo Gotti has an album titled Live From The Kitchen that'll come out before Mike's

yeah, that's what i thought too but check out the wiki page:

On December 9th Mike said he hoped to have the deal ironed out before the end of January 2009 to get to work on 16 in the Kitchen,[3] since retitled Underground Atlanta.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killer_Mike#Biography (at the end of the biography section)

plus in the albums section the used to be a "16 in the Kitchen" entry for either 2009 or 2010 i don't remember but now they took it out and it looks like this

Albums

* Monster (2003), Columbia
* I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind (2006), Grind Time Official
* I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind II (2008), Grind Time Official, SMC, Fontana
* Underground Atlanta (2009), Grind Time Official, SMC Records
* I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind III (2010), Grind Time Official, Grand Hustle, Atlantic Records

that's why i wasn't sure.

by the way, if you have the Underground Atlanta album, could you up it?

I pledge alliegence to the grind vol 1, is one of my fav albums ever. It's a double disk so there is some filler. But there are some classic joints on there.

I even copped the retail when I came across it at Best buy one day.
