I'm about to commit to some in a big way

My meal plan on an average weekday looks like this:

Bowl of cereal or egg sandwich
9AM meal (usually a cookie or something. usually skipped)
Meat lunch (bowl of chili or pieces of chicken, occasional sandwich)
Mid day meal (protein bars primarily)
50g protein shake
Meat dinner (fish, chicken, steak, WHATEVA)
Glass of juice

So I start the day w/carbs and transition into more protein heavy meals as I begin to wake up. I weigh like 185#, I think my macros work out to 200g protein, 150g carbs and w/e fat.

Anyways are protein bars legit? I hear they lie about the shyt. If so what can I substitute the bars with? I can only do one shake a week

Protein bars are nothin but glorified Snicker bars. On top of that most of them taste chalky as hell. I don't think they lie about what they put in there but they add alot of sugar and sh1t to make it taste halfway decent. I keep a few in my glove box for times when I don't have time to go grab lunch.

Why can't you use protein shakes but once a month? The only substitute I can think of is the Muscle Milk Pudding, that sh1t is good as hell. Man my dessert or mid-night snack is a muscle milk pudding and some Muscle Milk to wash it down.

 @ glorified snickers bar, on th real some of them are basically just that. A lot do contain tons of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc..

My coach told it me like this: The better the protein bar tastes, the worse it is for you.

Damn cuz those are gonna taste worst than a fresh off a jog puzzy to the tongue. They are bearable but not good tasting by any means. All of them are nasty but you just got the worst of the worst.

I have a shake a day... can't do more than that, I would prob vomit. Plus I have 2.5 scoops so I get 50g...

Im gonna fukk with these for a while. They fit in OK with my macros so even w/the sugar and shyt I should be fine.

what the hell kinda powder are you buying? The kind I get blends perfectly, you'd think it was sold that way. I put the powder in a thermos pour water in, shake it real good and it's blended perfectly.
