...What speed would y'all consider sprinting and what speed would you consider jogging?

Like, would 7.0 mph + be sprinting and like 4.0 mph be jogging?

I wanna try this and see if I can make it happen on the treadmill at the gym in my building.

Diggy, you can merge this or delete it after I get an answer (if you want).

how can someone else tell you how fast you can run?

Well for me it goes

1mph-4.8mph walking to speed walking
4.9mph-6.5mph light jogging to light running
6.6mph-10mph light run to mild run
10.1mph-12.4mph hard run

Because the treadmill doesn't go beyond 12.4mph, I could never actually sprint. I'm guess but my max mph is 23mph, maybe even 24mph. I need to get back to a real track and field.

But yeah like another poster said, nobody can tell you what running is for you.

Treadmills are so goddamn boring they drive me nuts so I just crank it to 10-12 for the short time I'm up there.

Lately I've gotten back on my HIIT. . . for a while I was jogging steady in the 5-6 mph range just working on endurance, but I wasn't getting the results for which I was aiming.

My current interval rates are 35-40 seconds @ 3.0 then a minute @ 8.0 - 9.0, and the results stomp the endurance jogging
