For me personally I am a matching kind of dude. I match my fitted with my sneaker or my shirt w/ my sneaks. I don't over match. I almost mix neutral colors. I hate people who don't match. Females can pull it off however dudes :sad:. One of my friends refuse to match like kanye/pharell....he goes out of his way to not match. He will wear a yellow polo shirt//pink hoody///whatever denim and red and blue sneaker lol

im a matching dude. But i dont go overboard. Trna match the lime neon pink green stitching in my fitted to the lime neon pink green stitching in my jeans that you can onlt see if you are holding the jeans up to your eye. I keep my matching simple. Less is more in my opinion.

I agree Hood critic. I do the simplest sh*t and it comes out illy. I dont think people put much though into what they put on that's why most people outfit be so ass. I cant wear a scuffed up shoes anywhere....U have one time to make a first impression.

Yeah but not on some OC type stuff. But I can't not match, I won't feel right at all. But I dress with pretty simple colors, I don't do them wild ass hues. smh, I go to Macy's for a Polo sale and they got Olive polos with a pink polo man. I took the red and blue and KIP.

so i see...but then again this seems tacky to me anyway and not because of the matching.

firstly, i rarely wear fitteds and when i do it's on some really casual t-shirt khaki shorts/jeans relax and be comfortable time.

secondly, wearing bright solid color shoes is :sadcam: status in my opinion. colored accents/highlights of some kind are fine.

i dont have a shirt that i dont have some kicks to match with, and thats goin beyond ya basic black/blue/red colors. shirt/kicks are a must, with the pants/shorts/jeans helpin offset the other two. if the shirt is a solid color but the design is somethin different, i'll match the kicks with the design and have the pants match the solid part of the shirt.

"Matching" is for women.

The fact that you have to sit there and think "ok, these shoes with this top and this belt" is corny.

Here's what I wore today.... brown cords, brown ankle boots, a thin tea/blue/pale yellow plaid shirt, brown belt.

I did not even think about matching....lets put it this way...I don't match my sh1t, but I also don't clash either.

It just looks way too "try-hard" when I see a dude with a yellow shirt and matching yellow shoes or something...fit might look nice but looks way too premeditated.

I don't know how to explain it...If it's not a t-shirt...i'm wearing whites/greys/browns/taupes/blacks...all that sh1t flows well together. If your wardrobe is full of red, aqua, lavender and all these other fruity colors nikkaz are wearing then I guess you "have" to match.

It usually doesnt even look good on women

the key is to wear complimentary colors, not necessarily matching. If you are gonna match something, it should be downplayed/less obvious ie socks to the stripes in your tie, and any bold color should be the only one in the outfit, with everything else muted/neutral...even then, its a tricky slope sometimes.
