Definitely agree on the tween part.. Coulda sworn dude was a female when I first heard them.. Anyways, "Lazy Eye" off the first record and their newest "Panic Switch" are fukking :ohmy:...

They can play, but it's not my kind of music. They too soft. Vocals sound lazy and weak. I downloaded a bunch of stuff, and was only really feeling "Waste it on" because that bass line is sick.
But I prefer lighter groups that can go heavier now and then like Smashing Pumpkins and Abandoned Pools.

I can't lie anymore, these nyggas are good. I mean Smashing Pumpkins and Abandoned Pools go harder, but they have some pretty annoying vocals too. It's just that my friend who listens to shytting rock like Plain White Tee's put me on to Silversun Pickups, so I was resistant at first. But I found myself liking this shyt while I did chores, or was just chilling on the bus. It's a change from the crazy stuff I lsiten to.

They are a good band, they have been to my city a couple of times and I always miss them...I need to make the effort to see them next time 'round.

Some of the music just has a good groove, a good drive to it. The singer doesn't get on my nerves too much - but I could understand why people might not like the soft voice. I think I like the second album better than the first.
