I hear it all the time - but for some odd reason, it works for me. I'm not one to change my diet cause I eat too good. Fuk that.

When I start getting a lil weighted, I go hard on the ab workouts and the 6 pack forms.

I've done a few times - not so like Janet Jackson or L Vandross, but when I pick up a lil weight and lose the abs - I c' get 'em back.


I say this cause I hear that nonsense too much.

Ab muscles are just like any other muscles - when you do resistance training it will grow and in turn get more defined. You can't burn stomach fat by doing sit ups and crunches and all that. Your stomach is not getting flat, what you're seeing is your ab muscles getting bigger.

Yeah...Of course they work. Sit ups, crunches, leg lifts at 6 inces, bycicles, all that stuff will get you a six pack in a few months (assuming you don't have a lot of fat on your stomach..

Just do core work, i'm seeing results already doing Ab Ripper X and planks.

I don't even mess with situp and crunches anymore. Lifts like benchpress, squat, pullups work the core quite well. I do use ab straps though
