View Full Version : Exercises to Improve Quickness?

and preferably exercises that i can do without weights. i just started playin ball again recently and man i got slow as fukk. and it's not like i got fat or anything, i just lost my speed. i feel like i'm movin in quicksand. but i'm lookin for some good exercises that can improve my overall quickness. any help would be appreciated.

Very simple, go cop a weight vest and do suicides until you vomit. Any other way wont work.

Squats,lunges, and calf raises with help you develope greater speed. On top of doing these anabolic exercises you should stretch alot.

Better than a weight vest and suicides? Nah. Oh I forgot to add wind sprints with a weight vest.

yea i'ma start fukkin with the squats. it's just that i gotta bad back so i gotta be real cautious with the squats and deadlifts.

i heard plyometrics are real good for speed. good for workin out them fast twitch muscles. but i do need to start fukkin with the weight vest too.

Those are the best for speed IMO and thats the premise of your thread. Squats and lunges are good for all around development BUT that isnt the best way to improve quickness. Gotta use quickness to imrove quickness.
