Eminem dissed Nick Nannon..white people replied:
"OMG this coon pulled the race card his wife is 1/8th black! why is he so sensititve? everybody knows Em is crazy!!"
Jamie Foxx made fun of Hanna Montanna, her dad went on TV to b1tch and white media said:
"you dont talk about family! that darn coon! especially good ol' Billay Ray Cyrus's daughter OMG Gee Willikers!".
But isn't Jamie Foxx a comedian and crazy?
Anybody see the double standard? Disgust.

Age matter because either way, whether Miley was black or not....Jamie would have still been wrong for going in on her.
I don't really care about Race in either situation. But her being 16 has a lot to do with the reactions Jamie got.

Nick Cannon is a fukkin cornball and shouldn't have said shyt about it.

You got a wife? or a kid? If you married a broad, and she got a ex, that shiit may come with baggage. Specially dude with the thought process of Marshall.

Did you hear the audio of Jamie Foxx going in on Miley?
I'm pretty convinced that if Eminem made the same exact statements that Jamie did in an interview, he would receive the same feedback....minus racism being a factor, which I didn't factor into my opinion on either situation to begin with.
Neither person made any racial remarks to require a reaction that involved racism. Nick Cannon tried to make it seem like Em was being racist, I can't remember Billy Ray making it seem like it was a White V.S. Black Thing, but Am I Wrong?

Don't care but you agree the situation is funny in a crooked type of way? yes. Either way you put it Nick Cornball Cannon has a right to defend his WIFE.
To answer your question, HE WONT. Because Em is "crazaaayyy!!!"

Yes, I did. And I heard it live. Yes, it was out of line, in a sense. The point of the thread is that Eminem gets a pass for way too much. He spit a line about the same girl in his new album. I don't remember the exact line, but it was just as bad. Where's the outrage for Eminem? People say, 'Oh Eminem is a jokester, don't take him serious.' But if you have ever listened to The Foxxhole you'd know it is very tongue and cheek. What Jamie Foxx said was outta line and so was what Eminem said.

Maybe BUT Nick has a right to dfend his WIFE without getting flack from people saying he's using whatever methods he did. I may not like the race card thing but its his WIFE.
Its still foul that Em won't get spoken of at all in respect to the whole Miley thing.

Then again I guess its to Jamie's benefit that people expect better from him. Although its still foul that Em won't get spoken of at all in respect to the whole Miley thing.
Course he has a right to defend his wife. I just don't get the race shiit, at all, which is my only problem with what he said. That and the thought of him making the ether style diss he's been building towards all these years...

Okay. His stans need to stop giving him passes.

Yes, both statements made are unacceptable, but being that one was in a rap song & the other was just in spoken word has a lot to do with it.
If Eminem goes into an interview talking about Miley Cyrus is a "B*tch" and "F*ck Her", etc, etc,for no apparent reason, basically the same thing Jamie did...You're not gonna convince me that her Father doesn't respond and people don't see why he responded just because Eminem is "Goofy"....when you're speaking on something...people have the tendency to take what you say a little more serious.
And who's to say Billy Ray won't say anything?
I'm not seeing a double standard as much as I'm seeing one being more vicious than the other.
I know I can't be the only one who reacted differently to each of the statements made.(In regards to Miley/Hannah Montana)

1) Both Billy Ray and Nick Cannon had every right to defend their loved ones
2) This whole "Eminem never gets called out" argument is bullshyt. Ya'll are acting like O'Reilly didn't just call him out for dissing Sarah Palin in We Made You. Ya'll are acting like MJ didn't call him out after Just Lose It. And of course ya'll are forgetting all of the criticism that Em received(GLAAD, feminist groups, etc.) when he dropped MMLP for using the same language(******, ho, bytch, etc.) that numerous rappers used before him....
3) When Relapse officially drops, it will generate plenty of controversy from the media

I didn't see too many people saying Cannon was wrong, he has every right to defend his wife and that's been the consensus. The problem is when he tries to race-bait because there's no reason for it here.
What track did Eminem talk about Hannah Montana on again, was it Underground? The album's only been leaked for a few days, barely anyone in the mainstream/media outlets have even heard the reference yet if it's not on a single. Once it drops in retail and people hear the album in full, you'll probably hear an outcry from someone.

Em got at her on "3AM", that's been out a while....And I agree with the 1st point you made. Nick was just reaching with that Race sh1t. That's why he's wack for it.

That's a copout.
So if he said it on 'Blame It On the Alcohol,' then it would be cool?
Eminem said that on '3 AM' and how long has the song AND video been out and nothing has been said to him. Jamie Fox said, what he said, on Fri and got lambasted on Mon. The '3 AM' vid been out for a week and change, debut on Cinemax, and the song's been out for more and no one in the media has a problem with his Chris-Hansen-why-don't-you-take-a-seat-here-lyrics.

I didn't direct the 'stan' jab at you; I meant in general
Those are totally different situation. Eminem calls out someone's wife and the husband responds; but instead of atleast respect where Nick is coming from, the Shady Coliation says Nick shouldnt have said anything. I'm all for jokes, but Eminem takes it too far so times and everyone's expected to take it as a joke. I don't think he's a racist, but he rubs people the wrong way and he's done it too many times.

I think everyone agrees that Em talking shiit about pop princesses is old and corny. But the end of the day, who the fuuck cares? If I'm ****ing Alba or Brittney, who won? It's just music. I'm not saying it's right, just saying, he obviously isn't gonna stop, he obviously can still make good music, and he obviously ain't gonna get touched at this point in his life physically.
The best thing that could possibly happen is for a high caliber MC to diss him, so we can see if he is what some people would like you to believe he is on that tip.
