View Full Version : Iron Gym Pullup/Workout Bar?
anyone own or used this? just looking for a good pullup bar that I don't have to mess my wall or doorway up for...

I got one... it's perfect. You can use the necessary varitations... close/wide grip... it works great as a floor push-up bar that gives a slight decline... and works well supporting your weight if you elevate your legs for an incline push up.... mine came with the ab straps as well, i use that mostly to target the obliques
I picked it up yesterday but didn't put it together yet... so I don't have to put anything into the wall or door frame right? it justs rest on it?

no you should have that little piece of metal you stick in the frame before propping the bar up.

where does that go? is it noticeable? does it get in the way of the door?
that means I can't just move the bar to another doorway as I please?

No its not really noticable...and no it does not get in the way of the door. You can remove the metal guard by lifting it up.

is the piece screwed in or something though?
I guess I'll have to assemble it to figure it out... I didn't get to it last night after the gym... too tired

Nah it slides in door frame...it's just a safety guard...you'll see it when u assemble it.

I think all the new ones do... I picked mine up at Bed Bath and Beyond.
