I have never gone that far without walking in between. Actually, I don't think I went much over 2 miles without taking a walking or stretching break. I wasn't going for speed cuz I wanted to last the 4 miles, and towards the end, I wasn't sure my legs would let me. But they held out and I'm glad. Plus it was still hot here in San Diego cuz the sun was not down yet and there was no ocean breeze whatsoever.

Obviously not bragging cuz I know that's nothing to many, but it's a lot to me.

I'm curious though. If this was an accomplishment for me today, how long would it take me to train to run a marathon (26.2 miles)? Any ideas? Any of yall ran marathons before? If so, tell me about it.

Off topic, there is nothing better than living in Pacific Beach in San Diego and jogging on the boardwalk after work or on the weekend. SO MANY GOD DAMN HONIES RUNNIN AND LOOKIN SOOOOO GOOD!!! NIIIIICCCCEEE!!!!!

Congrats, I've done 5 miles in 45min 20sec's but that was a combination of walking and running. I'm trying to get to 5 miles under 35 minutes.

Just did it in 43 minutes tonight, and that included stopping for about 20 seconds to tie a shoe lace (had to be done).
