and i use to be hard on my J's. Like buy them that Saturday and then wearing them to the club that night and shyt. So a lot of the J's I got are not in good condition. But I had to once I started working and i would hull my jordans.

But I got bout 6 that aint been worn. or worn once or twice. 12 in good condition and bout 10 thats :sadcam:

It aint that I dont wear them. I just pick and choose when to and not to wear them out. Now my jordans are excursively for chillin with hoes and going to places that aint crowded.

When i saw some spiz'ikes that me and my homeboy bought at the same time, his still looked new and my were :sadcam: i made up my mind then.

Ive been collecting Jordans, Nike Bball retros (Pennys, Pippens, etc) and Lebrons since about 06...

I have over 35 Jordans and about 10 other Nikes (dont remember)..i have about 7 shoes all together that i dont wear..thats why i have beaters :yes:

As a grown man decided i'm gonna own all 23 regular joints and the current "in season" ones as they go on just as a symbol to myself that I made it to the point that I can have what I want since I worked for it.

But now im think like $150-$350 might not be a good investment for just a few nights stuntin..

depends on how you look at it, if you ain't neglecting responsibilities and shyt like that then I don't see how its wrong to "invest 150-300" in your self if you're doing it for you.


Some cats do outgrow it tho, my old roomate had his half of the garage filled with Jordan and dunk boxes that this cat never wore and ended up selling some on ebay and some to me just cuz he bought into the "hype" of owning Jordans

I rarely wear J's....they stay in the boxes...I don't have too many pairs, probably about 10.

J's are too clunky for my style now unless they're 1's

Basically the same for me, I would never have asked my father to spend that much loot on shoes as a teen. Even though I wanted them badly. So when I got to a point where I could spend the money without hurting I started copping the re-releases of the joints I wanted from back in highschool. (I love my 13's, I remember all the ballers ditching after homeroom to hit the malls the day they dropped).

Now mostly I only buy designs I like enough to spend the money, I like a few of the fusions and it's a challange finding them cause I wear 15's. But If I decide I want something I'll find it no matter what.

Like I fell in love with the 9.5's and ended up buying them in 5 colors; red/white/black (http://www.sneakerfiles.com/2007/05/05/two-new-air-jordan-9-5-lows/), red/cement white/blue (http://www.sneakerfiles.com/2007/04/30/new-air-jordan-9-5-low/), Blue/white, Black/white/gold (http://www.pickyourshoes.com/collectible/nike_jordan_team95_lo_blk_sil_miner.htm), and my babies, The Dark Cinder/Linen (http://www.sizeten.com/gallery/main.php/veGAtts/Team/DSC02310.JPG.html) ones that were never released anywhere but started popping up in Nike outlets last year. It took me a week of calling Nike stores around the country before I finally tracked down a pair in my size in virginia. You cant tell in this pic but the lower is like a woodgrain veneer. They're litterally impossible to find at this point accept for in collections.

So for me it's about finding a unique style I like.

i wasn't buying jordans before then...i was an af1 or dunks type cat...so when fusions came out well the kinds i like i copped them.
