i like both artists but ross flopped hard and anyone denying that or saying "150k in 2009 is amazing" needs to put the blunt down. ross was saying he doin GRODT numbers, this is his WORST first week sales numbers thus far in his career, i havent seen an album promoted like DTR in a long time, plus beef with gunit/shady, plus the fact by the sounds of it that album was expensive to make (it is a good cd) but reality is jada had none of that going for him and the sales are almost identical. ross wont even reach gold probably stalling at around 350k. flop. (and for you ***** ass mother****ers that will more than likely come in here calling me a stand, i liked DTR, and TLK, so stfu.)

I think U overlooking the fact that Ross Cd was as close to 5 Mics as we're gonna see this year. The Production and The Lyrics are Just Timeless. as i said, ross was expecting to have a phenomenal 1st week (GRODT) level type sales (and whether or not we believed that would happen, i think Ross actually believes the stuff that comes out of his mouth) and he fell about 700k short of this. DTR, i have read something about this album damn near everyday for like a month and a half now. **** was promoted hella proper. beef with 50, ross had it on the music side. sure everyone likes laughin at pimpin curly and those skits, but aside from banks and yayo, like no diss tracks put out by gunit camp. expensive ass production on his album + features, and the sales were 153k. thats a flop for the way this album was pushed/hype. It is his worst 1st week sales thus far. sure the album is banging and its a very good 4/5 cd to me. but he still flopped. i donno how you people cant understand this. there is no stannery going on here (at least on my behalf) but with all of the above mentioned ross should done like 200-250k.
